Geonet
Geonets are mesh geosynthetic materials, including civil engineering and drainage geonets. Civil engineering geonet has similar applications to geogrids, but with lower tensile strength and cost. Drainage geonet can be combined with geotextiles to form composite drainage materials.
Geonets are two-dimensional geosynthetic materials with a regular mesh structure, made primarily from HDPE or other polymers through extrusion molding. It has two categories based on their application: civil engineering and drainage geonets. Civil engineering geonets have both reinforcement and drainage functions, with tensile strength and cost significantly lower than geogrids. Drainage geonets are primarily used as drainage layers and can be combined with geotextiles to form composite drainage materials.
